Is there a place to hook up water to the Jacuzzi Jet so that i can run the motor with water so i dont cook it? Do i need to rig something up so that i can run it with water and put water into the headers to keep it quite and cool? the boat is just sitting on the trailer. thanks

Without question the best way to run it on the trailer is to disconnect the pump from the engine at the driveline. There isn't a place on the pump to hook up a hose to the pump. Most boats are plumbed with a garden hode inlet right after the valve coming from the pump going to the engine. Does your boat have a garden hose inlet on it?

I beg to differ , most boats might be plumbed with a garden hose type gate valve with NPT fittings on either end . Mine and my friends Halletts seem to be the only ones I've seen with the garden hose ends on them . I'll snap some pictures of mine as soon as I get batteries .

I built an adapter that allowed me to separate the AN fittings of my line coming off the pump and insert a setup that allowed me to hook a garden hose. Took seconds to hook up and I could flush for as long as I wanted. And this was with a steady diet of Salt Water (which is the norm up here)......never a problem but I was careful to make sure I didnt overpressurize the system........
