Title: Powder Coat removal

Was looking online for ways to "At home strip" the old powder coat off my pump and came across this:

 Please let me know if that stuff works !   I have boxes of old parts that need to be striped :(

OC2,  If that doesn't work, and you can buy that stuff at Auto Zone or Napa parts stores, try going to eastwood.com and looking at

I know it's all but impossible to strip even with a sand blaster especially if there is zink chromate as a primer.

 I work in a shop that does some Powder Coating and we have an Industrial stripper like the one listed from Eastwood . It sounds like the same from the Eastwood description .
The one we have works very good . It only comes in a 55 gal drum for about $600.00
I would try the Eastwood one if I were you , As it says in the Eastwood ad keep the part wet with the stripper (submerged is best )

Im glad you posted this cause i need to strip my nozzle and adapter for a repaint.......

that shit in the can aint gonna work...   Last time i used the aircraft paint remover, spray & gel and it was still a bitch :banghead:
