I’m thinking about installing a pressure regulator in my boat.
I’m just wondering what the pros and cons are? Or if it’s even worth installing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry... not a pressure regulator. I meant a pressure relief valve.

Im no pro, but I would think it all depends on how your gonna set is. You gonna run logs, center risers, or headers? Running wet header or dry?

I have a set of over transom headers that I’m running wet.

little disclaimer lol. I'm running center risers sooooo, I really don't know too much about headers. But I do have a pressure regulator on my cruiser running. I've been told its not necessary and its overkill for my boat, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Before you buy one some things to consider. How good is your pump, what hp are you running milder engines should be fine without one. Hope this helps
