hey guys im really curious and want to learn more about jets in general, i have a dominator12-S and from what i understand is that they are made by american turbine, is this compleatly true?

I hear a lot of guys talk about berk, juc, and panther but i havent heard anything about amer. turbine or dominator, are these decent pumps? i havent had any problems with mine in 7 yrs, well except for the u-joints but i fixed those about 6yrs ago and the angle was at 7 degrees and i reset it to one degrees, i do know a lil bit about jets but i really want to learn more. thanks guys for replying when you get the chance i really appreciate the knowladge you all share.

Never have had any issues, from what i understand its a copy cat from a Berkley that is made by american turbine.
It performs good enough for what i use the boat for and i happy with it

ok sweet didnt know that, mines doing just fine for what i do also but i was just curious cuz noboy really mentions them. thanks for the info i really appreciate it

I also have a 12-s, and am fairly new to boating.... My understanding is that right off the shelf they are great pumps. I've heard the dominator actually stock has advantages over a Berkley. Parts and such are obviously much more readily available on the Berkley however. Check out B1 racing. I think he's an authorized dealer for Dom, and AT, he does some really nice stuff. In fact my boat will be with him shortly !

I'm sure someone will have something negative to say about a Dominator or perhaps even have a lot more info on them than myself.

ok sweet man I have heard great things about them and my dad has had his in the same boat as mine for 20 yrs next year and no issues I love my jet no other way to go than a jet as far as I'm concerned keep me posted on what you do to it please I would like to hear something about them as far as mods go you k ow what I mean. But again thanks bother I really do appreciate it a lot
