Title: Recommend a pump rebuilder in Orange County
Post by: Sambc2 on May 04, 2011, 03:49:21 PM
Newbie to the site so I'll try and give all the info must newbies forget. I'm running a 21ft open bow Commander with a 454BBC punched out to 468. Full roller motor with 871 blower shop blower and dual 750 holley double pumpers. My pump is an American Turbine 12TD, "A" cut. Hydraulic place diverter and 14" ride plate.
Now for the question. I recently ran through some weeds that plugged my intake and before I realized it my wear ring heated up and came loose. I'm pretty mechanical but after reading some of the posts on rebuilding a jet I think I would be safer having a pro do it. Anybody have any recommendations for a shop in OC that does a good job and can also check my set up to make recommendations for improvements?
