I'm making my own ride plate. Got it cut the width I need and tapered the holes. How long does it need to be? I have a factory JC bowl on it but will be addind jetovator soon ? ¿ ? ¿

I don't know if there is a standard length on ride plates, but the longer it is the more it blocks the reverse bucket and starts limiting how well it works.

I measured 8 wide by 16 long and that is an inch short from rev bucket

My ride plate extends 12" from the transom, and 16" l.o.a. from the shoe, thats roughly 14" from the end of the nozzle (with diverter)
Are you using a shoe?

Yes. I came up with 16 from the shoe also
