Was just curious if anyone knows of something other than the black accordion type seals for the control cables through the transom. Seems like I have to replace mine every season because they get hard and Crack in the seams and start leaking water through them. Any picks or info on what you've done would be great. Thanks

I have a source for neoprene bellows. I need to get to the other computer. I an out and about at the moment.

A $7 electrical strain relief for $30?
Those work great above the water line. I assumed you were talking JE/JF type bellows.

Is that something you can get at big box, or is it specialized electrical cable? Or do you think the standard 43c cable seal is the best.

Been trying doing a full build its slow have motor and pump done bottom of boats geled now working on top hopeing for late August or oct hopeful

I picked up the strain relief for the 43bc cable. $15 . I'm still scared to drill a hole in the boat. Newbie I know. If you were going to install the diverter cable again would you use the clamp/grommet that comes with the diverter in the usual spot to the upper left of the berkley transom plate? Or should I drill through the Berkley transom housing just to the left of the B , and use the stain releave. I read that I can tap the hole with 3/4 npt and that is the proper thread for the electrical connector. What should I put on the threads to seal? Don't want to screw this up. Getting excited about finally having it installed. Thanks for your help.

This is what I would like to do. Super clean install. This is vwagons boat it came out awesome.
