Title: Rudder question

So I was told by a friend that taking my rudder off would give me more MPH. Does anybody know if there is any truth to that?

Can't say I noticed any difference in mph. Didn't like how squirmy it was without it. Won't go without again.

I didn't think so, I really love how the boat digs in the corners. If your not holding on it will throw you out the boat! At Havasu the boat runs 80 in almost good water with 3 people in the boat and full tanks off fuel. Always looking for more though. :screwy:
