Title: Sacrificial Anode

My first boat with the little mercruiser had an anode on the lower unit.

Anyone implement one on a jet or are they deemed unnecessary in local lakes or on the Colorado?

As far as I know theres no need. At least I have never seen one

Really depends n how much time it will spend in the water.....Just like the Mercruiser... ;)

We put a few anodes on my buds Fish Rite with a Dominator, two on the jet pump and one on the hull with one on each aluminum trim tab because it spends 5 months out of the year in the water and about three weeks in and out of the ocean during salmon season...

The ocean is where it is really needed, not freshwater.
