Title: shift cable

i just bought a '74 sanger super jet w/a berkley 12jc. the shift cable has bend at the end i was just wondering if that bend is normal or did it get hit. thanks for any info

A picture is worth a thousand words. Place Dieverter cable or forward/reverse cable?

All of the forward reverse cables I've seen were completely straight. I am by no means any kind of jet boat expert.

I've seen a kink in alot of cables right at the metal insert on the end of the cable and they work with no problems . As to whether or not that is bad , well you decide . It definatly didnt come like that from the factory . Like I said , I've seen them work for a long time . Do you smell my sh!t .
