going to be running this soon instead of my 3pt mount and im a LITTLE worried about having my 1310 exposed whirling away back there.... i typically keep ropes and anchor line on the passenger side and so far i havent had any issues but i suppose it could fly around and get sucked around the driveline...
do you guys just leave yours open or do you have a cover?

Umm YEAH!
Doesn't have to be a fancy aluminum one. Pickle had an upholstered wood box somewhat like an engine cover back there. I'll see if I can find a pic of it

I just converted my 3 point to a 4 and added a HM drive cover as well. Will keep the grease down to.
-
I have a cover on mine, fancy polished stainless deal that clamps the bearing cap on my jet. That thing just looks like trouble when spinning up those RPM's and grease will get everywhere if you don't cover it.

I was going to make one way back when, then I found one at a local swap meet for 15 bucks(score). I had to polish it and then drill and tap my rear bell housing for it. I doubt it would stop a high RPM U-joint failure but I am sure it would slow it down. It does keep it cleaner to reduce the grease though.
