The Place Diverter on my Rogers is stuck. Upon closer inspection I found a bent bracket (see pic). Anyone have a clue how to bend this back where it's supposed to go without breaking the bracket? The Place Diverter moves with someone operating the control AND someone assisting at the diverter itself.

I would assume you could heat it up and bend it back slowly.....but it is cast aluminum, i am no metal expret, so I dont know if thats the logical/proper way to do it.
any idea how it bent in the first place? someone use it as a swim step?

I'm going to wack it with a sledge hammer, it seems to have held the last beating pretty good - other than being bent.
