Will a place diverter nozzle from a jacuzzi pump work on a Berkeley jg

I asked Josh @ JPB this same thing...
Older PD Jacuzzi units are different,
Newer PD units are the same, and different steering adapters.

Whats the difference? I don't know, but I have the older unit.
