Title: Suction housing ?

Ok my new JG bowl and pump that came actually has a ja suction housing the suction housing that's in the boat now is a JC suction housing is there any difference in the two will they still pull the same amount of water through or is one better than the other and I should stick with that one?

the ja shaft is longer and won't fit, have to move motor forward.

S*** my motor is as far forward as it could go so would I be able to rob all the stuff off the jg bowl impeller and bearings and put it in my JC suction and use jg bowl

everything will work out of the ja except for the shaft,  you will use the jc housing and rear seal, jc bearing cap and seal

I called the guy i bought from he said its a jg shaft bearing and bowl in a ja suction housing and should measure the same we will see

if it is, there is no way to lube the front bearing !!!!!   show me a pic.
