Title: The Under-abundance of Intelligence
Post by: chrisx2 on December 08, 2014, 07:04:48 PM
Started on the pump intake grate replacement, expecting some level of intelligence above breathing & eating.  But Nay! Sayeth the moron who's favorite line was,"..yup, done it ma-sef".....from who'm I purchased my vessel.

I removed his "modified" rock grate in order to install my SS loader into the intake.  This is what I took out and am installing.

In addition, that goofy welded on "scoop" protruded 1" below the keel.  More apt to dig for gold with I think.

Spooky.

Be sure and through bolt the new one.. Use hardened hardware.

Certain you knew that already.  Just saying it out loud for the rookies.

That old one belongs on the wall of shame.

Did you by any chance get the opportunity to water test the boat before removing that piece of engineering marvel?  I would love to have tried it just to say I did.  That is ...... O0 right there!

You'll probably  pick up 5 mph just from the lack of drag.  ;D
