Title: thx cyclone speed&marine
Post by: Ralph Brunt on July 02, 2007, 09:03:37 AM
i have to give a big thx to jim brock at cyclone speed and marine.
i called jim brock on saturday and told him i needed my pump gone through so i could make the avi trip and he told me to bring it in on sunday and he would take care of it. now i dont know about any of the other pump shops, but i know this guy dont work on sundays. that being said he opened his shop for me and rebuilt my pump so i could install it on the 4th and test this weekend. so in my book there is only one pump guy and jim is it. customer service goes along way with me and this guy went above and beyond. oh yeah he worked until after 8pm :o

he took my pump apart while i waited, measured the wear ring clearance, over .180 and it should be no more than .060. as well the impeller was dull as a butter knife, that explains why the hondo was such a turd.
jim detailing the impeller
