Why's it green?

And why's there a sheet behind it?

And, and, why the droop and then angle plate aiming it BACK up?

And, and, and, why's it green?

And, and, and , and, who's shoe is that under the sheet on the bottome left corner?

Do I sound like a three year old????

Feel like one becuae I know there's a logical answer for all (or most) of those that I cannot grasp. Well, 'cept for the green part........... What Up Omar?

Oh my Friggin Gawd, I KNEW there was a reason I liked you guys! Omar, when we talked on the phone a couple times, you seemed a docile kinda guy. I had NO IDEA. THAT is extreme!

THAT is soooo coool! Next boat , Saguaro or the Bahner, maybe. Gonna stick with speed and a simple PD on the Moo, but MAN, THAT is impressive.

thats it i am going to have to buy the diverter for the panther! unless anyone knows an alternative.

is 800$ a good price for a diverter. that is what panther wants to put it on my pump.

what degree wedge is that?
Title: Re: Too much rooster tail ?
Post by: Brad @ SCJB on May 21, 2009, 07:45:14 PM
theres 2 wedges in there. not sure how many degrees each is.

josh - there was always 2 wedges in there, but they were both offset to only give it a certain degree....i have them both now set straight up for  max wedge angle.  >:D

i also did some grinding to get the diverter to go past factory angle. its now as far as it will go as the hydrolic ram is maxed out.

after this weekend im going to take it apart and clean it up...paint it.

i would eventually like to get one of those mini droops from place to get a little extra pin angle out of it without wedging the hell out of it.

from the words of rivertard....

i can never ever be the fastest guy out on the water, but ill be damned if i get out roosted.

...and that my friend is neater then socks on a rooster  ;D

damn, i cant wait till fathers day to hang out with that old turd.

Any pics or info on what you did to the diverter? Willing to share the secrets?

This is mine from yesterday. Place diverter, 4 degree wedge, place HPH.

Not the best pic

After almost hitting a rock and slamming into the tullies, because of lack of steering; the steering extension and droop are on order.  :banghead:

im going to dismantle the pump this weekend to clean up some of the grinding i did and give it a paint job. ill post some more detailed pics of where i ground away. its not that difficult to figure out. move your diverter to the up position and look at whats stopping it from going higher...and start grinding.

Before you go out and waste a bunch of money on wedges, there were countless cases of beer killed in the making of that set-up.
By just adding wedges you will in all likelyhood kill the handling you are used to.
The entire boat was set-up to run lottsa roost.
From the bottom to the intake to the loaders, bowl work, impellor detailing, all of it.
It was not just a "lets add some wedges!" type of deal.
You really have to see the boat run.
It's like magic.

Wedge away though, by all means  ;D
