I was adjusting the bucket on my boat the other day and i tore the plastic casing on the cable. It hasn't affected the throw but i am afraid of water entering the line and causing corrosion in the future. Does anyone have any ideas on how to waterproof the line to keep water out. I tried silicone but the first run it came off.

1/2" shrink tubing works wonders, put some sillycone on it first then the shrinky dink and you're in bidniss

Make sure you run the shrink tube over the metal casing on the cable, I think you'll be fine as wine with that setup

Tom,
Thanks for the heads up. I saw that you sell the cables and they look very reasonable but i am just trying to get through the rest of the season before i tear everythig apart again. ;D
