Wondering if I should take my rutter off or just leave it be. I figured I’d ask for y’all’s advise and thoughts.

If you are seen in public with the rudder then you have to turn in your man card. Like training wheels for a jet boat.

Seems like they are used more on bigger day cruisers.

Got one on my 21’ day. No way it will affect anything for better or worse if I remove it, so I haven’t touched it except to make sure it’s tight.
Anyone doesn’t like it, they’re more than welcome to try to take my man card lol

If you boat in skinny water, it's usually the first thing that gets ripped off.
The one that uses a steering pin to mount, if it gets ripped off, then the steering is usually fk'd too.
If ya boat in lakes, you'll be fine.
