I am installing a place diverse on a JC Berk and I wrestled with it all day and still not complete. The pins that hold it to the bowl, the top one is too long but that ain't all. The holes for the place diverter were stripped, I tapped them and conquered that. Come to find out it was a hydraulic place D and the cable that was sent won't mount I'm the hole on the arm for the tilt. I know others have converted from hydraulic to manual. The cable is like a throttle cable  and don't have the big nuts like the reverse bucket cable. What do I do now?

The hole for trim is round and has holes on the side looks like a pin or screw bolted in. The cable is the same as the throttle cable. The holes for the diverter to hold the pins. I got no pins with the used diverted I bought. So I was re using the factory ones.

Here are some pics. I did not see where you can buy a new pin for the top. And my other question is how to secure the cable to the upper arm of the diverter for the tilt??

Cable is the same as a "shift" cable, not "throttle", should be a 43 BC, or 4300BC series...

That's what I was thinking on the cable too. I might just put the longer pin in the bottom since I don't think you can buy shorter pins. The pin is longer because the steering arm is attached from factory. So I need a cable. Thank you
