Is this capable of being welded. Slight hole in the impeller.

I don't see a hole, maybe just my computer monitor but that appears to me to just be excess casting flash material on the surface. You could try to scrape it off with a chisle by hand or use a die grinder lightly with a small diameter, 120 grit cartridge roll. That's one of the things detailing an impeller addresses. If there is very much material there to remove the impeller will likely need to be re-balanced or at least checked. That's the high pressure area of the impeller, I'm surprised the apparent cavitation hasn't removed it already.

I would think an A would be better for a cruiser, a B will just want more Rpm and move less water. It ultimately absorbs less HP on a stock motor.
That could probably be welded, but why? It probably has flaws and could fall anyway.

Day cruiser- AA, or A2 Berk. use the torque from that 460 :thumbup:

I wouldn't advise welding on cast alum. especially in that application. That appears to be a void in the casting causing the issue. I have a couple new and used replacement impellers if your interested.
