I used 3M 5200. I pity the person who has to remove the intake next time...it probably will be me.

Regular clr silicone... I use ge2 mostly(home d). Holds for years...

Why silicone over epoxy?

If your looking for a permanent hold than epoxy... like the intake. Mostly everything else isn't requiring strength for hold so much as a good seal.

If you are just smoothing over the bolt heads, Bondo Glass holds really well. Silicone will contaminate the glass and will interfere with adhesion on future repairs/modifications.
