my bowl has a casting on it that reads
8556603
cc-1
8-5-96
could the cc-1 be my impeller size? if not where is the stamping on the impeller? i can access the impeller and see it but i do not see anything stamped on it. thanx in advance.

Most jets have a metal tag attached to the inside housing that gives the original model and impeller code. The problem is if it has been rebuilt or modified you have no way to know without pulling it apart and measuring.

the tag that is on the side of the pump is a volvo penta tag and volvo acts like they cant tell me anything about it. it was built by legend.

If there's nothing on the tag that says -A-, -B- etc, they might have a different way of identifying there impellers (if they had more than one). The impeller (if its like most others) would / should have a letter stamped on the back of it that says what it is. But you would have to remove the bowl to see it, if its there.

As your boat came with a V6 GM (i suspect) it likely has a "C" cut impeller Tom

The Jacuzzi WJ should still have a metal tag in the same location as the Berkeley. But again, you won't know for sure without a teardown.

Your WJ should be "tagged" as well and should indicate what the OEM cut was , like Crew said the only real way to know is to remove the bowl and even then we depend on "small and Large" diameter measurements to be accurate Call if we can help Tom
