Trying to find out what pump this is the boat is a 18 foot Eliminator. The intake is a berkeley.When I opened the hand hole cover I seen what looks like a loader.Any info would be great on what I have. That is definetly a berk , it looks like they used a bayjet transome adapter. Maybe they found it already polished!

after closer inspection....it looks like its stamped with RJC-A it should be 12JC-A maybe its just the angel of the image ???
and if it is/was a JC pump....someone put a split bowl on it at sometime. you kinda have a Frankenstein pump!

Thanks for the reply. So This pump should not have a problem with the HP the motor is putting out. Can you tell what impeller it has ?

the main difference is between the bowl and the nozzle. theres a nozzle adapter on the G bowl, but the C bowl is all one piece. the disadvantage of having a C bowl is you cant run a droop snoot or put wedges to adjust your trim.
the 2 bowls are compatible between the different suction housings. the C bowl is claimed to flow better then a G bowl, some people will convert the C bowl into a split bowl setup but the difference is said to be minimal and would only be a gain if you were trying to shave tenths off your drag times.

Thanks . So this is going to be a fast monster in the water. last owner clamed he bounced the 75 mph speedo. Do I have a 100mph boat?

i highly doubt it....sorry to bust your bubble, but it takes A LOT of horsepower to hit 100. i would say youre probably in the mid 70's at best.

With such an amalgamation of parts don't assume you have an A impeller. Get the spec sheet on impellers and check it. If it's aluminum it may have been cut a time or two over the years due to wear, rocks etc. If it's stainless you are having a very good day. Have fun.

What's the rpm at WOT and about how much horsepower do you have? If you know that, then we can predict what impeller you have based on a chart. The chart is really used for estimating horsepower when you know the impeller cut and rpm. But it can also be used to predict an unknown impeller cut, as long as you know the other two variables. ;) But the only true way to know the impeller cut is to take the bowl off and look at the back of the impeller (it should be marked). And the best way is to measure the diameter of the vanes because it may have been cut and not remarked.
Great pump, used in many race boats. With the right internals, they can take as much horsepower as you can throw at them. But even with stock internals, they can take a pretty good amount of power.
