Just rolled in from a couple days at Havasu..... Saturday was perfect.... we were on the water by 10am and the lake was pretty flat and smoothe.... went down to Parker and then headed the other way to Topock for lunch..... coukdn't have asked for better weather. Conditions got a little choppier on the lake by the time we returned. will be back there for the 4th of July. my friend has a condo in LHC and we always launch at Windsor

Did you get your boat back together Danny?

Hey Bob.... thanks for asking.... it's still sitting in the driveway. I have to do something with it soon as I'm going thru a divorce right now and will be getting it ou of the driveway this weekend. I either have to get it running or sell it. A friend is gonna let me park it in his driveway in the meantime...... wish me luck!!! I was also in Havasu two weeks ago during the regatta... the channel was so crowded we turned around and got out of there.... I'll be in Havasu again for the 4th of July!! Hope to see you guys soon after all this dust settles

I'm going there this weekend and a buddy of mine told me the water level is up a lot especially in the Channel. He said that you need two anchors just to keep the boat in the channel. One is front and one in back. Is that true? Did you notice the water level being higher than last year?
Thanks for your input.

Waterevel seemed about normal in the channel.... going up river at the "no wake" zone we rubbed on a small sand bar for just a sec near one of the bouys..... also was a little low at the Topock Marina inlet.... was a lttle narrow there as were leaving.... then again I was driving an i/o.. shouldn't be ani issue if your driving a jet.
