Title: Blue-green algae

Whats up with that blue-green algae? I read a article about it on fb. Is it the whole lake or spots? What happends if u come in contact with it?

There's more info on the lake mead rec area website, it's toxic gives you a rash.  I was just at lake mohave and it was pretty bad, found areas to swim though. Scary

I know I'm one of the few crazy people here that go to Lake Mohave, but I have met a few SCJB'ers there, has anyone been to Mohave lately around Cottonwood Cove?  Is the algae gone?  Thanks.

We were there 2 weeks ago and I did not see any of that crap anywhere, the water was great! But, we launched at Katherine's landing and didn't make it anywhere near cottonwood cove.
