I used my iPhone might be wrong but it was fun and she was handling good like a wet dream. I really want to take motor apart but ill wait till December. The carb I had on it was a carter witch was clogged up with crap so I put a 750 dp on it and running half gas and av 110 so ran it dry next weekend try to do it all again this time on regular fuel only.

Thats cool just watch those high r's with the olds especially if you dont have oiling mods done and a 10 qt pan i love my olds but the oiling issues are a major downfall and will get you every time been there a few times racin chevys and runnin it up high for a couple sec to long lol

Yah I don't know about the 92, if I remember right you bought a kona? They are pretty heavy hulls and they are solid. I got 65-68 out of mine with nothing in it but interior, me and 4 gallons of gas. And I ran it up past 5500. Get a good hand held GPS, I think I paid 130 for mine but you can find some for 50-70.

They make things easier, when I use to go to the river/mead all the time I was able to give out locations to friends family that didn't know the area and when I let someone take the old boat out they were able to find there way back camp If they couldn't figure it out.

Yeah you would need to do a lot of work and spend a lot of coin to see 92 out of an olds. Not to bust your balls or anything. I'm at the river now and the best I've ran is 62 with just me in it and a quarter tank of fuel and ran it against my dads jet ski. That was at 7 this morning with nobody out. Mines only getting 4600 rpms so you've got me beat lol

Thanks for your input ill try a GPS next time the boat I got was from Cali and a police officer owned it. The first run I did got 62 at 4000 rpm changed the old plugs out and ran it again went even faster so I could be wrong so we will see next weekend if no rain in vegas I was at mead at 6:30 am no wind so flat.

I have speed box on my phone. Works perfect on roads and offroading. Follows a true mph gauge perfect. Haven't tried it in the boat yet.. Everytime I have taken a GPS in my boat it always hurts my feelings.. Lol

So I think I'm just going to try my Magellan GPS and see whats really going on. The mph gauge on my boat could be bad so I will try to match it up with my GPS. Thanks for your input bro.
