Hey guys so this saturday I'm thinking I wanna go float...just go grab a beach n hang out over near swallow or the cove me n vegascharger found a while ago...nothing big just hang out for a few hours

How 'bout tomorrow? Sat is cool.... Swallow is cool, no mini parker (sandy beach) almost went out today, got to washin my floors/interviewing welders.

Not worried about the stringer.. That was just something i wanted to update..
I have to pull out my tanks and get them fixed.. Have a hole in one of them..
Now i just need to find some more time to do it..

the plan for saturday is get the boats ready to roll then wait and see what the weather turns out to be...if its crappy, we'll roll out sunday instead.

Blue and white seemed to be the theme of the day.  8)  Have you opened her up much yet Brad?  How did the cruiser stand up next to the Nordic?  Seems to me like our cruisers can do just fine next to some of the eighteen footers still.   ;)

Owned and operated a NAPA parts store and machine shop until he retired a couple years ago, believe it or not, he misses it...

No test run yet , boat is still waiting on parts for the fuel supply.. I had to re'plumb it and go with a different pump.. Just waiting on a reducer fitting and a inline filter from Summit that should put me @ 8 psi and then it gets wet...

Im expecting little changes , and this is just one of em ;)  Parker ain't gonna happen for me , im still working 7 days a week due to cut backs but thankfull i still have a job...

Are you guys doing another Avi trip this year ???  I can do that  ;D

hey boys , a buddy of mine is comming into town saturday a.m and is staying at the lake (mead rv resort) for like 5 days so ill be there all weekend..i got my polaris ski running last night, i still have to get a battery but if you guys wanna float i was thinking about cruisin to sandy to play on the beach with the kids and hang out???? what u guys think...will you let me hangout w/ my ski?

Ski will be good for today...on the water at 7 back off at 8:30 definately an ocean today...got the boat tested! First run it was running like shit! I was the wtf I thought I got this all worked out! So pulled into the marina cause it was flat and decided to check floats...both bowls were really low! Raised the floats and went back out! Thing ran really good I was pretty impressed with it!

Saturday float continued...gets them there pics up guys....i went to upload my sim card and its not showing anything WTF??????????? I'll try again...they show up on my camera but not when i put the sim card into the slot...hmm maybe on internal memory must try that... :banghead:

A little bit of what happened yesterday...me n my co-pilot launched around noon...and brandon Nordic454 was already on the water! water was bitchen...so i told brandon where to meet me and i wasnt paying close attention and i blew right by him and kept going...anyway i got to swallow and seen a text from him saying dude you went right by me...so i met up with him and took him over to swallow cove and we hung out drinking boat sodas...then in come terry and we move beaches still in swallow cove...while we were moving beaches in came chromey...so we were all hanging out drinking boat sodas...then the wind came up a little and i talked everyone into going so we dont get caught in it...good thing i did though, the wind actually calmed down on the middle of the lake but, chromey needed a tow in...the reason i say that it worked out is cause it was almost dark when we got the boats on the trailers...all in all a really good day!

cant wait to see the pics Terry. were working on ours as well. it was a great day, glad to finally get on the water with of the guys. it was a good thing we left when we did, towing Chromey seemed to take forever, but its all part of the game, happy i could help. running wide open with Hdrider across the middle of the lake was pretty sweet.

What a sweeeeeeeeet day!  We started off in a spot was that was a bit "murky", so we went across the cove.  The water was soooooooo warm (from the sunshine!), tunes playin, lotta muchies, boat sodas and the company was great (as usual).  Nice to meet ya 454Nordic and Jodi! For those of you that weren't there...............you were missed!!

We headed out and were having a sweet romp across the lake until we noticed Chromey wasn't there............454Nordic and Nordie went back and 454 gave him a tow to the ramp. Justin was havin a good ole time (since there was no prop moving) hangin off the back.

But then..............Justin began to lose his shorts in the water! Chromey of course couldn't turn around to get him so he was kinda stranded!  HD turned around and he was able to hop aboard for a ride back to the launch ramp.

That was SCJB cove. Located between Las Vegas Bay and Swallow. It used to say SCJB on the cliff above the beach, see "Mead Kick It day". It now says, "Tom (hart) Skip".........I dunno

So Saturday float turns Saturday night float....long story so here we go!!!! I decided to try and round up some troops to goto the lake yesterday and no one really wanted to go so my buddy larry decided to ride with me and then brandon decided to come out about 1 o clock....well we ended up hanging out at swallow on a pretty nice beach...from there we decided to enjoy some boat sodas....did I mention the lake was glass!!! I was able to flat foot it all the way across the basin bitchen water...well back to boat sodas and telling lies...anyway I look at brandon and I say we are losing daylight pretty quick we should probably head back he agrees...well as soon as we get under power brandon runs out of gas, and I am like dude I don't think I have enough to pull you back and he's like are you serious and I am like yeah...I told him I would half to haul ass and get gas and gas can...well I take off and go get gas about at the no wake zone my boat is starting hick-up cause its almost out...I get to the pump and my buddy starts filling up my boat!!! I buy an over priced gas can and a waaaay over priced suction cup light for my bow....anyway we get everything situated and I tell my buddy you gotta hold onto this gas can cause its going to hit the alt. Or headers...well we get out of the no wake zone and he forgets to hold onto the gas can!!! What happens it hilts the alt and punches a hole in the gas can!!! Now the motor and us are covered in gas!!! I didn't know those headers glow in the night time!!! Anyway now we half to tip the gas can and keep a hnd over the hole but we are still leaking gas!!! Now it is pitch effing black...and I can't find brandon I passed him right up!!! So I call him and finally found him!!! Now we are running at night and I have just a bow light and he has no lights and there is shit sticking up everywhere out there that scared me the most, but we made it back ok...sorry for the long story figured I would share it though

actually im laughing a little, but i cant get over how lucky we are....it has been running gthrough my mind all day, and i am very thankful at the result of what happened...if a fire would have started i would have been burned as well because i was covered in gas!!!!! but on a positive note all you haters on the single carb t/r the boat gained 300 rpm

I am gonna blame running out of gas a mechanical error! i have never ran out of gas in anything, and am always the one laughing at those that do.... my gauge read half tank. and those of you that went to the avi trip and ran wide open most of the way with me to and from park moabi knows that it only took me half tank on that trip. so theres no way i spent 15 gallons running wot for 10 minutes on the lake. but whatever. it waas an experiance.. i am now gonna fix all me lights this off season when i do my interior because running at night was awsome. and again, thanks Josh, i love ya man. i was there in case you needed help and you saved me. classic
