Sunday Float @ Mead
« on: April 26, 2013, 11:04:19 AM »
Few of us are gunna go hang out on Mead this Sunday.

We should make this a regular occurrence. We'll call it 'Jet Boat Church'

There is no powered boats allowed north of Willow Beach up to the hoover dam from labor day (september) until memorial day (may)

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there is no powered boats allowed north of Willow on Sundays and Mondays.

You can thank you local kayaking tree hugger for that one

So consider that river of the closed until the end of may.

I dont mind sharing that strech of river (we've got 5 days, they get two )  but on saturdays "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT" -they're usually streched all the way across the river like a floating road block, its like riding a 10 speed bike on the 405  :screwy:

Where at at mead? temple? lv marina?
FYI: willow has a 'fee station' under construction, prolly ready by may (I always get the lake mead pass in december/january for katherines)
