Title: anybody going to big river for memorial

i might have my boat back together by then and was wondering if any1 would be out there?

There's quite a few "Eastsiders" from Phoenix going there I know. Dunno if I'm gonna do it yet or not, they're trying to shame me into it. I tend to avoid the big Holiday Weekends. Bad experiences on the Lakes last year with that, lol. I think I'll just enjoy some sodas by the pool and a bar-b-que.  ;D

From my experience there 2yrs ago it doesnt get to bad out there

For a few years all the heavy hitting v-drives used to get together at the Big River RV park on Fathers day weekend for the Al Alcorn Sr birthday V-Drive regatta.
Alot of River Rats I and maybe some of II was filmed on that stretch of water.
But dont go there cuz it sucks balls .

I will be down river from BR on Memorial Day weekend at Water Wheel. I probably wont end up coming up that far but keep an eye out for a yellow and white hallett.

I know I know, point is the "river" just aint what it used to be. I heard over 40 DUI's at the last V-drive gig down there.
