Title: are the carp floatin in Blythe yet?

Does anyone know if the carp dieoff has moved as far south as Blythe yet?Should I take my grate off & blow fishmeal on everyone? Hahahahaha Just kidding

I just got back from Water Wheel Resort (near lost lake) and they were not there yet. I hope they dont make it that far at all but who knows???

i saw 2 in big river this weekend, coulda been hit by boats, but i have a feeling its the carp herpes

I gotta answer my own question.Yes they are!I found 3 in the morning weedpile thats usually stuck to my boat.I'm just south of Aha Quin,but I guess were lucky we don't have the huge carp population that they have in the lakes above.The kids thought it was cool cause we diddnt have to use bait or reel them in.

Went out this last weekend, (17-19th) and we saw about 8 floating on friday and not as many on Saturday and Sunday.  But they are there so that sucks.  Big ones too, they look like little logs floating down river.

I saw one floating this weekend down by walters camp. But I did see a bunch alive and jumping out of the water in the channel as normal.

I was at Blythe from the I-10 to Goose floating on Thursday afternoon and didn't see any at all. Hell I didn't even see any live ones.

Damn things need to be killed off anyway...if you catch a live one, gut it and throw it on the shore for the Ravens' to devour
