well as the title says i will be in blythe with the crew next weekend. talked to tom at jetboatperformance. he is the man. i am getting a new plate and grate for my panther. and why did no one tell me he had a conversion to convert my panther into a berkly that i can add droop snoots and a place deverter on.. project aquaholic just got a little more expensive..hahah..
i need an interior guy that is not going to rape me.. anyone got a suggestion.

did you tell him that bad berk sent ya?!!?!
-
ya that looks good but i want a party bench in my boat. i want the full engine cover and then a bench that wraps from the driver seat all the way around to the passenger side. so i will need all new wood work and coverings. might try it myself in the off season.
well tom has my parts on the way. and we talked about the panther upgrade. it sounds sweet. compleet with droop and place diverter. it just might have to get done but i am sure i will wait till the end of the season because i use the boat too much to be without it for a couple weeks. and i would have to send him the jet drive for this to be done.

I would suggest not doing anything to the motor either just so you have a good referance point as to how well your money was spent , or not .
Now looky here , I'm really going to be waiting to see if you do this or not cuz I always read mixed reviews on these conversions and it'll be nice to see on here , especially from someone who isnt into cracking every tenth of a second out of a set-up. Just a coversion on a river boat that cruises from spot to spot like 90 percent of the boat around . I'm glad to hear that Tom is hooking you up , he hooked me up and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy .

ya i am not too concerned about my top speed. but to buy a new pump would cause me to refiberglass the rear of my boat. and for the same price i can modify my existing jet with all the goodies of a berk. so it would be a lot less work for me. just take out the pump send it to tom and then put it back in. i like it.
ya tom seems to be a great guy to deal with. this mod is going to depend on if i get to buy this eliminator that i am looking at. but like i siad this will all most likely happen next season.

I can tell you dealing with Tom has been a good experience on my end.

you were there a couple weeks ago right? if not there was someone there with a boat that looks just like yours. i was admireing it at goose flats and saw it pull into mcintyre on sunday or something. i will look out for you and make sure i say hi if i see ya.. keep your eyes open for the aquaholic as well.

Yep, that was me. I was there the weekend before memorial day weekend. I'm not familiar with the name of the coves but I'm assuming it was above McIntyre on the cali side just above the island?
I'll be sure be there again. We'll discuss our nasty jetboating habit over a couple of cold ones for sure

I was out of it that weekend, don't ask. But I think I do recall seeing that boat. Cool, well now I'll know where to hang out at. I'll see you guys out there this weekend.
