ya i just steal it from my neighbors. hahaha. it is a 5 hour drive from my house to blythe. well maybe 4 and a half. its 282 miles.
-
Aquaholic it's only 220 miles from mine and I do it in under 3 hours. And I still don't get there as much as you.
-
To make 220 miles in under 3 hours you would have to average 74mph :o
I'm sure it can be done, but I've had a couple drive by warnings from the CHP, giving me the 55 hand signal ;)

I keep everything out there. My trailer is set up all the time on a fenced spot with my boat and a golf cart. It's awesome we don't have to tow anything, private launch ramp that is never busy and with how much gas is we drive out in a little Honda and launch with an old Bronco II that we have out there. I am surprised more of you guys don't do this. I do pay for my spot year round but then I take my quad out in the winter. best of both worlds.

I keep a travel trailer at Emerald Cove, with a call ahead they will put it in a space and plug it in (a/c running when I get there) ;D
Then I tow the boat out, only loose about 1 mpg by towing the boat.

That's cool too. I have friends that do that up in Parker too. I love my spot out there. My sister's trailer is right next to mine and our friends are right across from us. It's pretty sweet.

ya we are there year round as well. spot 29c. i drive the civic out there and i give them a call when i leave and they will go turn my water and ac on for me..hahah.. love it.. i have the maint guys launch my boat with their truck they dont mind you just have to let them know when you want to go out and come in. but if you come in too late you better find a friend with a truck..hhaha
