we will be there the weekend of the 15th with a few guys from scjb we are all staying at riviera.

I have gotten comfortable with the 20min drive to Lake Elsinore.
I have never been to Blythe.
I would like a little more water.
The lake I grew up on in AZ "Apache Lake" is 22mils long so it's a little weird riding in a pond. Lol, but it's nice and close and the people are friendly I dig the channel crew, fun hangout.✌️

it will be our first trip to Ben, had too much going on to start the season early. Hopefully we can catch up on the water this summer.

So I think your best bet would be a beach somewhere or goose flats.. Even the island below goose flats has been covered up. Post where you will be and we will see you out there.

I got it back to SD and the damn thing fired right up, I'm thinking the ignition was just soaked from driving through the rain or something. Like I said it fired right up when I got back to town. I'm having the starter replaced just in case because it "sounds weak"

By the way, how about you drag a trailer from Upland to Blythe for me in a couple of weeks ;)

Go to riverside municipal airport.... don't bring the boat, cans only. I was doing a job over there and the guy driving the fuel truck was all about it. 100 for $4.87 a gallon. I'll find the guys number for you.

I like it big small block. How does it like the E85 with Nos I was told its not a great idea.

from what he says and the guy knows his shit is NOS loves e85 more then any other fuel out there and with e85 u can actually run more timing since the motors run cooler.

we actually where there and helped them out, crazy shit older man and 2 kids on Thursday, they air lifted them out the man was pretty banged up was having trouble breather and face was bleeding all over was a bad situation. From what they say all 3 will recover and be ok.

32 miles a pretty good ways. Only problem with Walters it's hard to float back up river when you have a problem.

We have been talking about making a trip like that but we have the pontoon for support slash towing. We were going to float most the way down. I also put a tag line and tow my boat a lot of time.

What you get for having that hotrod motorboat ^-^

The news this morning said Caltrans was hoping to be diverting eastbound onto one lane of the westbound by Friday, but I didn't catch from where to where if they said. That could cause a pretty big bottleneck for a while, and may or may not be better than the 62.

Walters camp to Martinez lake 32.67 miles. Now i can see the sand bars but i just kind of followed the river.

We did it a couple times last year and found out the float down is great but coming back up river sucks so we started dropping the truck and trailer at Fishers the day before and just driving back to Blythe after. Way more enjoyable.

Yeah every Friday that we are there we hope for water last Friday was the worst it has been. We are thinking of working on Fridays and taking Mondays off. I will try that next weekend and see how that works

Johnny has a place at the neighbors Blvd bridge. It's about a 30-40 minute ride up river to the Riviera. Where is goose flats? I thought that was down river from the riviera.

all I use is a sand spike never have any problems... and inside of goose this time of year is typically gross. You will find everyone just down river from there.

That's me. Left front blew and jerked the truck hard to the left. I tried to correct but the back end came around and it went into the center divider. Rolled 1 or 2 times. Got it on the trailer after about 4 hours and we are finally almost to the house. Boat will be in the water tomorrow.

Yeah, would have been nice to have been able to just pull it on the trailer, wasn't that easy. Took 2 CHP officers, 2 tow truck drivers, Johnny, and myself. It was quite the chore but we got it on without any damage to the bottom, just a little scratching on the bow that I'm sure I can wet sand off.

we should be yes, the wife doesn't like the drive from west covina then to blythe then to avi, it's a pain and the kids go crazy hahahah so blythe it is.

We have met a lot of great people in our 5 trips now. Can't wait to go back for new years and next summer on the water. Hope I will have a running boat by then lol.
