Hey 5150, we're still trying to figure it out. Talked to Hallett Dave and he can't
get out of work. We are wanting to get to the river, but it's not looking good
for this weekend. McIntyre sounds awesome, I think one of our buddies is going there
next weekend as well. I really wanted to be there this weekend.

If you see a blue and white Daytona, stop and say hi and have a cold one.
We will catch up with you guys soon...

Just got back from McIntyre an hour ago.  Had a great time with the family and pretty much had the place to ourselves.  The water was really low to where I was afraid to have my wife drive so ski time for me.     If you go into Goose Flats you WILL  be pulling grass out before you can leave.  The weather was nice but it was getting humid again as we left and the bugs were coming out.  Mosquitos were brutal last night as they managed to find all the holes in the tent.  I was very sad to learn that the old ice house in Blythe burned down a while back.  Don't know why I have fond feelings for an old brick building but it seems I do.  A lot of the trip felt very nostalgic as things were so quiet down there.  I think I saw moe boats headed east on I-10 than I saw on the river in 3 days.  Gas is still nearly $4 a gallon though, that wasn't like the old days.
