Title: McIntyre this weekend
Post by: todd98se on March 27, 2014, 11:07:58 PM
I'll be out at McIntyre this weekend for the first time ever. Is this magical island south of Goose Flats kid friendly? Bringing the wife, little girls, and my parents so I don't know what to expect. Look for a blue/brown Eliminator Liberty and a brown Hydrostream bass boat.

The island is totally kid friendly. We take kids from infant size thru there teens, and even us adult kids👍👍
Have a blast, if the island is full there is always the drop off sandbar right out from goose flats or if the water is up, cruise into goose and hang out

Goose flats is a great place to hang out. Water has been up bigtime and from what I have heard it's supposed to stay up for awhile longer

Yeah from what I read today there won't be any sandbar problems for at least another week. Guess I won't switch to my beater prop.

Had an awesome 3 days at McIntyre. Great park and everyone was really cool. River was way up so it was easy navigating. I only went as far north as the 10 and as far south as Oxbow. I did manage to hit 70 on the GPS alone with half tanks and right at 70 it started chine walking really bad, definitely puckered up..............

I'll definitely be back.
