Hey Guys
I was down at McIntyre Park this Monday and took some pictures of the Mobile Home I rented.  I don’t know if this is the right place to post this or not but I thought some of you would appreciate it since the park doesn’t have any pictures posted on their website.  The Mobile Home is a double wide (pretty big for a rental) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  It’s somewhat of a beater but hey it’s the river right.  The lot could easily fit 5 to 6 trucks including boat trailers and it rents for $120 a night.

we have been trying to reserve this for that weekend. someone has it booked i think. i told buddy to call me if they cancel.

Whats it like down there? Water levels stuff like that? Iwould like to go down there and check it out sometime...

Yeah, I talked to a guy that has been in the park for a long time and he said that the old owner of the park lived in the mobile home.  He also said that all of his employees lived next to him in the compound area.

Man that place has changed a lot since i was a kid. I havent been down there in years but im trying to change that here soon lol. That trailer is the old owners. His name was Mike, I dont if he is still around but im pretty sure that is his old house. There also was a big guy named Bob that ran the park, but i dont know if he is still around either. Here is a pic of my dads 19' Daytona at McIntyre. This pic is from 1979.

fred, mike sold out along time ago, and since the park has sucked ass as fare as upkeep, mike did a great job on everything, new owner's just hired this jakeass to run it!!!!!! Also they fired bob when all bob did was try to keep things in order but he tryed to fight the biger man and you know that never works, but the cool thing is they have had bob come back part time to run the gate and such, funny bob has known me for 25 of the 31 yrs of my life good guy he's still the same bob too , those pics are funny i have some like that, you should make your way down it's still the best place to be on the river and still great for family's to be!!!
