Title: Trailer at KOA Blythe
Post by: ctm..squirtsalot on March 23, 2012, 04:27:33 PM
So the wife and I decided to put our fifth wheel at KOA Blythe for the summer. It seems like a nice place from what I have read on here and other sites. Any of you guys stay there. What's the deal with leaving your boat there? Is it safe?  Ideal thing would be to leave the boat and toyota there and drive the wifes car back and forth.

I work on a solar job there about 3 years ago and we stayed in a motel right of the main street there and I brought my rhino cuz I was running a grading crew. Well and night the tweakers came out! I count several messing with it, I had a cooler rack so they would steal everything in it. That happened to other guys to. Also caught guys taking of a boat cover going though peoples shit taking skis and wake board. This was at a motel so it could be different at the koa grounds?

I have never had a problem at the KOA or staying at America's best value in and we have been going to Blythe for a very long time. America's best value inn is off lovekin and Hobson way.

I have been to the KOA once, 2 years ago. Stayed in the cabins, and I had the very last one by the FWY. Had all my stuff including tool box and everything else for a week beside the cabin never got messed with. Don't know if I got lucky or not. Cool place tho   Just my .02

Anyone know of a place that rents out houses for the weekend out there for a
Decent price we are in Blythe a lot and maybe save some cash instead of paying for a hotel we could split a house with family

Had someone "lift" a big bag of beach towels (with camera) out of the boat while parked outside of Denny's.

I live in Blythe. 2 miles from kOA. It's a controlled place, fenced in. Good place shouldn't have any problems.

Man that Sucks! The only time Denny's is a good idea is at 2:30am when the bar closes. ;)
