Title: TREE SWING IS GONE!

Went to Lost Lake this weekend and while going up river noticed that the Tree Swing is gone.  They did some construction work above it and move a ton of dirt taking out the tree.  You can't even see the tree no more where it used to be.   They did make some more beach where it used to be though so it's not that bad I suppose.  Good at  low water, high water it may not work as well.

That's a shame, always fun stop at Tree Swing, Watch out for remains of tree in water, two years ago they took the tall tree a mile or so south and pushed it into the River ( west side of sandbar just above Gilligans. :banghead:

that sucks...nick and i drove down there sunday during the fathers day weekend deal at big river....there was a ton of local kids swarming all over it....enough that we avoided it.

That sucks. We used to stop there before going to Shell Beach.

noticed the same thing last weekend, and heard rumors of a new dam being constructed down river somewhere
