this the link i use for water levels for the lower river http://www.coloradoriverinfo.com/waterflowreports/2010/030810.html (http://www.coloradoriverinfo.com/waterflowreports/2010/030810.html) (don't post much so i'm not sure if i'm doing it right) i use the parker dam release column. it says 11,000 cfs this week which is pretty darn good. it hasn't been that much in a long time. put it this way when its about 13000+ i can take my 22' I/O from lost lake past big river to the dam and back and never worry about busting up a prop. hope this helps

That's the website that I use to check the expected water levels. If it's above 10,000 then it's a good weekend. There are times during the summer when you will see numbers like 7,500 on fridays and saturday.
Use that website alot though. Best way to do it, look at the numbers on a weekend when you go out and use that as your baseline. That way if you will be able to judge if it's going to be a great weekend, or a really great weekend. <---Damn rumors..... ::)

Doesn't it take like nearly an entire day to move from Parker Dam all the way down to LL, WW, ahaQ areas? Keep that in mind too.

yes that is probably true; must be the reason i'm in the water @ 4PM.........and also the reason im selling my I/O and getting back into a jet :)

That's way fav section of the river. Water is high early morning and early evening which is the best time to ski. Also not all that much boat or smoker traffic either. It breaks my heart that I have lost my campsite down there. Fukkin Indians
I bet I have spent over 300 weekends there in my life. Started going before I could walk but haven't been there since 1999. The bitches don't want to tent camp anymore and the brush has pretty much taken over where we used to put the boat in at. Those were the days my friends . . .
