Title: Where to go for 4th of july?
Post by: 68shorty on March 21, 2016, 09:39:22 PM
Usually we stay home and have a party but I'm over it this year.  Wanna take the family out on the boat and get wet!  My question to you guys is where is the best place to go out on my jet that's halfway family friendly and don't have to worry about too much patrol?  Looking for a pad to rent maybe that will fit 10 ppl or so...

Blythe area is gunna be your best bet with the least amount of water cops. Havasu and Parker will be a joke. Not sure about Laughlin I rarely make it up that way.

We did Blythe last year, was fun and not that crowded. Not sure what we are doing this year. Either Blythe or martinez

How's Martinez? Never been there. Drove by it once looked pretty cool. Any places to stay? Look mostly like trailer parks

never been. Bostick and Lupo love it! Keep trying to get us down there for the summer but it's an extra hour and a half away. I'm destined to go down a few times this year.

Laughlin is awesome. I've been the last 3 years and I've seen maybe 8to10 boats during the fire works. I'm always on my jet boat during the show.

Was thinking of getting a house in needles for a few days but have never been on the water thru there.  Is it pretty good for small jets or full of big ass boats?

I'm usually across the river from the casinos, anchored, in knee deep water grilling burgers and dogs...waiting for the fireworks show to begin...good times
