Title: Where To Stay In Blythe?
Post by: SteveOhh on August 19, 2008, 10:54:01 PM
Just got my 1980 18 ft Jetster up & going & we took it to Bluewater this past weekend.  It wasn't a whole lotta fun trying to deal w/ big boats & whitecaps & all.  We used to stay at McIntyre back in the day, but the old lady ain't into camping & we don't have a trailer.  Anybody have any recommendations on waterfront places to stay around the Blythe area?

TIA  :screwy:

ya as denis said. you would most likely have to pick one of the hotels in town. i have a trailer at mcintyre you are welcome to come over for drinks after you pull your boat out of the water. i would say you can crash at my place but i have a pretty full trailer this weekend. but you should definatly meet up with us. i will be out there late thurs night. and be on the water fri sat and sun. feel free to give me a call 949-677-2468 so we can establish a meeting place. or you could just look for my boat on the river. should not be too hard to find.

hope to see you out there.

I have a trailer on the AZ side at the Colorado River Oasis and they have plenty of waterfront hook ups that are always available and they have cabins that you can rent too.  The launch ramp is at least a three boat wide ramp and there are hardly ever three boats on it.  There is a pool and a hot tub too when you are done with the river.  I am not sure if you have to be a member or not.  I am in a different part of the park.  Give them a call 928-846-3421.
