Thanks for the interest guys... this project is still in progress, but it is my Fathers deal and has taken a back seat to some other things going on. We hope to continue making more progress here as we get time.

Engine mounts are now fabricated. Oil pan modifications have begun. A slight mod needed to fit down in the center keel/bilge. After that we need to complete the wiring. I will update this with more pictures in the near future ! The engine bay will be packed that is for sure.

If it comes for sale sometime I will definitely let you all know here first ! It is going to be a little different... and Cool I hope.
Should be a blast to drive around and throw some mini roost !

It was a proto type that happened to get in on. They could make more I am sure. Cant remember the cost exactly...around $2600 for complete pump, ride plate, droop, etc

Engine is almost entirely rigged and almost ready to drop in. Long hours at work has slowed the project, but hope to hit the water in august sometime

Will do jimpen. The engine isn't much to look at yet and the turbo looks about the size of a Donut compared to our big jet boat, but we found a  large
oval air cleaner for dual carbs that we plan to wrap around the whole cylinder head in attempt to bling it out some without too much fab...

Okay a little more. Work is slowing down a tad so hope to make some progress with it.
lil battery tray
[attachimg=1]
Intercooler up top. no room anywhere else. A little welding and polishing, then drop it in the boat

My 72yr Dad got the boat running today. Still details to follow up, but he is doing a great job so far. He is getting excited to hit the water asap. Maybe we can snag a test and tune this weekend if lucky. More to come...

We have a droop to put on it, but going to start with the standard adapter for comparison.

I cant wait to see it go myself. It is fairly proportionate scale wise vs a normal jet boat. Just smaller size
My kid has a go pro. I will put him in charge of that so we can get some video to post when it is up and running good

I guess you like it then

You have first right for refusal if we go there in the future. Fair enough? :)

We finally have the boat running well enough for a water test. We had to remove the stock wire harness and ECM system and replace it complete with aftermarket AEM system. Lots of work.  Plus nobody has any experience with this engine at all,so we have been on our own to figure things out.

We hope to hit the water this weekend, weather permitting. I'll try to get some go pro video from the chase boat. Should be interesting. :)

So what motor is that? ford? ecotec?

I don't know much about domestic 4 bangers but it doesn't look like any of the jap boxes I used to play with.

We did get it out on the water for a good half day before winter set in, but was mostly unresponsive to tuning commands. We later found that the MAP sensor tested faulty. We have a new MAP sensor and are just waiting for the first early early spring day to bust it out. I expect it is going to go very well when tuned properly. Just gotta get to that point.

Dad on the water with lap top. Not too much Free Board !
