Title: slow project progress
Post by: AQUAHOLIC on October 30, 2013, 01:34:51 PM
well after the awesome river season we had last year i guess i should get back in the shop working on the mini boats.

I did consolidate some projects. I traded my turbo manx for a rhino 700, but then again i picked up a porsche 968 and a yamaha zuma as well. LOL. The porsche is currently in my shop. i got almost everything done. just need to install side skirts and figure out why the head, tail, and brake lights are giving me problems. then the porsche will be my daily driver

as for my truck. I blew the trans on it about a month or so ago, i got a custom one built for a total of just over 4k installed. then i drove it from the trans shop to the paint shop where i put new bumpers on it and got a whole new paint job to include new grill, windshield, lights and some other stuff. still waiting for that to get all done. should be done end of this week or early next.

Anyway. once the porsche is out of the shop i am going to bring in the two seater jet boat. and get that ready for some test runs.

im still undecided on the miny hydro. Do i cut the hull apart and transplant that huge 1300cc rotax and pump on it or do i leave the hull alone and get a 7-800 two stroke wave runner motor and slap that in with the stock pump.
