In 97, the first NEW car I bought from a dealership was 1997 Hyundai Elantra GLS. 1.8L 16 Valve Dual over head cam....Civic Eater!
I raced the shit out of that car, ordered performance parts from Australia and Korea...where Hyundai's are their Honda's.
One day I started the car and blew one of the sparkplugs out of the head, Trashing the threads in the process. Had the head helicoiled but decided never to put it back together. Had all the parts to do it, just lost interest in the car. Had it parked for a year in the garage and then one day decided to get rid of it. Had that car for 10 years, the longest I ever owned a car.
Now that I have downsized garages I have been opening boxes and totes and losing everything that I dont need. Hence the airbox for a chevy silverado that I havent owned in over a year!
