Bow tank vs saddle bags

which is better for weight distribution, getting the boat out of the water, etc etc?

IMO if it's a race boat you want the tank in the center and if it's not a race boat it's personal preference. marcsrollin has a bow tank and he likes it for several reasons: it uses normally waisted space, it leaves more interior room, has less parts to break/go wrong than 2 seperate tanks, uhmmm...

Does a family/weekend boat really need that extra .02 in a 1/4 mile race?

Bow tanks add more weight to the bow, possibly making the boat handle wakes better, possibly getting out of the hole slower, possibly helping to keep the bow down at high speed, uhmmm...

Hey Rod; hope all is well (aside from the quad crash); I was away from the site for a couple months and heard that you were also; welcome back (to us both).

I saw your tank on Craigs List; I'll be pulling my tank soon to investigate a leak; if I can't salvage mine and you still have this at that time, I'll get in touch.

Yeah; I need a tank but no $$ for one right now; you have been VERY GOOD to me on several things and I really appreciate it; the tank looks to be in great shape and I presumed that it would sell.

Several interested buyers at first, all seemed gun-ho to get the tank, none ever even looked at it. I'm done trying to sell it.

Bring me a case of Coors Light in cans and I'll trade you for the fuel tank. But you got to pick it up because I can't ship something that large yet (injuries).
