We just purchased our first home . I'm just wondering if there is anyone from that area in here . I still have tons of work to do on the house but we are hoping to be there this summer . So any info on lakes or jet boat hang outs would be cool. I also need some contractor/roofer work if anyone knows someone in the area  Thanks for any info

Topaz lake is nice. Pyramid reservoir is probably closer. There are others but they are at higher elevations and you might have to re tune to run them.

Boca reservoir is pretty close. Pretty nice mountain lake right off highway 80. Around 30 minutes from reno. Elevation is over 5k though.
