Upside to the Arneson Surface drive is that they are bullet proof .
Downside is that they generate TONS of lift and are ideal on big offshore style boats .

Eliminater just put a 21' Daytona with 1200+ hp and a surface drive together and it just kept driving the nose into the water .
The Drive generated too much lift . They have some other props that they want try out to solve this problem .
Maybe a prop off of a Bravo drive but that would also mean swapping out the prop shafts to accept one .
I believe the owner of the Daytona put the boat away for a while .
