Hmmm.on the edelbrock website it had the lowest intake deck height,or maybe its the Torker 2 .one of them it listed as .25 inches taller then corvette intake which is pretty low profile.im not expecting a performance increase,but definitely don't want to hurt the performance tho.

Hey,does anybody know of a good aftermarket intake manifold that isn't much taller then a stock one for a bbc with oval port heads?i have a 19ft spectra and it has the engine cover on it and it's pretty close as is and I like the cover the way it looks so I don't want to cut a hole in it.any info wud be appreciated.thanks

It has the 049 heads,heard these have good flow.are there better bolt on factory heads that wud yield some horsepower?

Hey I just got my first jet .its a 78 19ft spectra with a 454.i was curious what Ho and specs were for the motor.looks to be all stock,I did a numbers check on motor,and build date is 6-30-77.so I am pretty confident it is original motor.it has a Berkeley jet on it,not sure which model.has a place diverter(hydraulic)as well.thru transom exhaust.any info anybody has on the old spectra jets wud b appreciated.i took it out couple times at end of summer last year when I got it,with 3 guys and heavy cooler ,bothbtanks full and a pull tube layn on engine cover  gps got it at 60mph.water wasn't the smoothest.it will hit around 4800-4900rpms.is this pretty decent for this type of boat?thanks for any info guys.
