The No Wake Zone / loader question

going to try a different loader just for the hell of it. going from what i think they call a super sport loader to a river loader. i trimmed the SS loader to an 1/8'' above keel. do i do the same with the river loader? as it is it hangs down 1 1/8'' below keel but if if cut it back i will have to cut off about a 3rd of the entire ramp. this is not leaving much ramp left to load impeller. only about 6''. any help on this would be great.

got the buckets the other day. sitting in the boat now waiting for me to find time to start putting this thing together. finally have it home after 7 months at the upholsters. holy shit i might say.

nice build Gord. sorry to hear your having engine trouble. my BBC is in the build stage right now. this will be my 3rd boat and 6th engine in 4 years. im hoping this one lasts so i can spend time on the water instead of in the shop.

i live up in kamloops so i will be all over Shuswap, Kal, Okanagan, Nickola, the Thompson river, where ever the day leads me. for those of you who are not familiar with BC, in about an hour i can be on about 10 or more beautiful lakes. look up the Okanagan and Shuswap lakes. they're massive bodies of water. some of the nicest in the world.
now thats only if i get this thing finished and turn key. long way to go and still big costs lie ahead. if it doesnt make the water this year i wont be dissapointed with the progress i made so far.

Again thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I can't take credit for the work. Just the vision. Credit goes to the people who take pride in their occupation and work. They really have done a nice job so far. Not to leave myself out. I have and will be doing all the install of gauges, cables, wiring, fitting and mounting of engine plates etc...

i like drilling holes and adding new parts. WHAT I DONT LIKE IS WHEN THEY DO STUFF WITHOUT ASKING ME. THIS IS WHAT THEY DID TODAY AND I FREAKED!! give me your thoughts. i think i hate it and i told them so. i dont care if they have to redo the whole thing. i dont like it.

I have a 496 stroker being built for it. Big cam 10.5-1 comp. All the good gear. Had some specs given to me from another well known builder. Building it pretty much identical. Should put out 650 hp or better.
